A working farm where mornings begin with birdsong, fresh eggs, and the unhurried beauty of the land.
Our Story
Hollow Creek Farm was born from a dream shared between Margaret and Tom Calloway — to create a place where families could reconnect with the land, breathe clean air, and remember what life feels like without the rush.
Nestled in 40 acres of rolling Tennessee countryside, our working farm is home to heritage chickens, rescue horses, kitchen gardens, and a warm farmhouse that has welcomed guests since 2009. Every stay is personal, unhurried, and genuinely nourishing.
Where You'll Sleep
Each room is thoughtfully decorated with natural materials, locally-made quilts, and windows that frame the countryside.
Wake to sunrise views over the eastern meadow. A queen bed dressed in linen, antique oak furniture, and a deep soaking tub.
Our converted barn loft with original timber beams, a king bed, a reading nook under the eaves, and private terrace with rocking chairs.
A self-contained stone cottage beside the creek. Full kitchen, wood-burning stove, outdoor hot tub, and the sound of water as your soundtrack.
Life on the Farm
There's a different kind of magic in collecting warm eggs at dawn, brushing a horse at golden hour, or simply sitting by the creek with nowhere to be. Our farm is a living, breathing place — and you're invited into its rhythm.
Join us for guided walks, garden workshops, animal feeding, stargazing nights, and seasonal harvest experiences throughout the year.
Plan Your ExperienceMorning at the Table
Every morning we lay a generous table with what the farm and season offer. Eggs collected at dawn, garden herbs, homemade preserves, fresh-baked breads, and local honey — all made with unhurried love.
Life Here
What Guests Say
We arrived stressed and left feeling like ourselves again. The morning breakfasts alone were worth the trip — Margaret is a magician in the kitchen. We're already planning our return visit.
The Creek Cottage was an absolute dream. Waking up to the sound of running water, gathering eggs with the kids, watching fireflies at dusk — these are the memories we'll carry forever.
I came alone for a writing retreat and left with 30 pages and a full heart. The solitude here isn't lonely — it's nourishing. Tom and Margaret make you feel completely at home from the first moment.
